Samsung recently updated the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 with a new camera controller feature in several countries. Now, the company has started sending this new feature update to the Galaxy Watch 4 LTE users in India. The latest firmware update is rolling out with the build number R895FXXU1GWA3. The Galaxy Watch 4 Bluetooth variant also grabbed this new update in Korea and the US.

The latest update for the latest smartwatches introduces some new features and improvements. The all-new January 2023 update for the Galaxy Watch 4 LTE includes camera zoom controls for the Camera Controller app, which Samsung first announced this month. In addition, the software update brings support for a new device diagnostics tool and the latest security patches.

As per the official changelog, the new Camera Controller feature allows you to use the familiar pinch-to-zoom gesture to adjust the camera zoom level on your Galaxy Watch 4.

• Change zoom on your phone camera remotely through pinching in or out on the screen, or through rotating the bezel. *This feature is only supported on flagship models released after Samsung Galaxy S20 or Z Flip running at least One UI 5.1.

• A new “Connected device diagnostics” option has been added to check the proper performance of the Galaxy Watch’s battery status, touch screen functions, etc. on the connected phone. *Please update Samsung Members and Galaxy Wearable app to the latest versions for using the ‘Connected device diagnostics’ feature.

• The stability has been improved.
