Breaking: Galaxy S23 Series breaks pre-order records in Korea, Samsung opens Galaxy Studio

Samsung has officially announced its brand new Galaxy S23 series during the Unpacked 2023 event. Earlier, the Indian pre-orders were recorded around 140,000 in the first 24 hours. That’s about twice the Galaxy S22 pre-orders from last year. Now, the S23 Series pre-order domestic count is out.

Yes, you read that right, according to the South Korean media, Samsung revealed that the domestic pre-sales of the Galaxy S23 series recorded the highest pre-sales of the Galaxy S series ever with 1.09 million units. The Galaxy S23 Ultra model powered by a 200MP camera accounted for 60% of the pre-order count. The models S23 (24%) and S23+ (15%) follow.

The latest Galaxy S23 Series broke the Galaxy S22 record which was about 1,017,000 units in the eight-day pre-sale from February 14 to 21 last year.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Korea Pre-order

The ‘Galaxy Note 10’ holds the record for the most pre-orders among Galaxy smartphones. In the pre-sale held on August 11, 2019, the model recorded sales of 1.38 million units.

The pre-orders of foldable phones Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4, which were released in August last year, were about 970,000 units.

Apart from the pre-order figure, Samsung Electronics also announced that t it will operate ‘Galaxy Studio’ in Seongsu, Hongdae, and Yeonnam, Seoul, where you can experience the Galaxy S23 series.

Samsung Electronics introduced the ‘tour’ concept to transform a hot place in Seoul into a new and fun place to experience the Galaxy, and at the same time experience the local culture.
