Although, WhatsApp didn’t publicize this upgradation, thus many were not aware of it. Therefore, intending to update its users, WhatsApp strategies to add an in-app banner in the upcoming updates. The feature is presently under development and has been found on the beta app with version 2.23.3.13.
Calling Shortcut, which will Save Time
Furthermore, to make life better for its users, WhatsApp is working on the ability to create calling shortcuts. The shortcut will visible on the home screen and thus it saves time by tapping and opening WhatsApp every single time and then searching for the contact in order to make the call. The feature has been spotted on the WhatsApp beta version 2.23.3.15 on Google Play Store.
Finally, its time for Pinned Messages
Additionally, apart from the file size upgradation limit, another significant feature was the introduction of pinned messages. Since the feature wasn’t present, thus most of the group admins need to add necessary messages in the group description.
Now, finally, by realizing this need, WhatsApp is working on the message pinning feature, this is for both chats and groups in the forthcoming updates. Therefore, pinning essential messages will substantially make it easy to inform members who haven’t seen the messages before sending them. The feature appeared on WhatsApp beta with version 2.23.3.17 and will be publicized in the upcoming months.
