Samsung has officially released the February 2023 security patch starting with the Galaxy Note 20. Now, the company has published the changelog for the second security maintenance release of 2023.
The February 2023 Android security patch for Samsung devices fixes 5 Critical and 43 High levels of CVEs. It also included 8 CVEs from the previous updates.
In the latest security bulletin, Samsung mentioned that the February 2023 patch includes Improper access control vulnerability in WindowManagerService, UwbDataTxStatusEvent, App preview disclosure protected by Secure Folder in Recents, Improper access control vulnerability in Phone application, Implicit intent hijacking vulnerability in Contacts and Exposure of Sensitive Information vulnerability in Fingerprint TA.
Among other SVEs, Samsung says “Some SVE items included in the Samsung Android Security Update cannot be disclosed at this time.”
