Android Auto gets an important update regarding the Weather. Yes, you read that right, the current design is quite confusing for weather data so now the company has decided to bring a new option called “WeatherRadar”.
It is coming as the first full weather app for Android Auto. On February 07, 2023, Weather & Radar (also known as “WeatherRadar”) is confirmed to arrive on Android Auto. For your information, it will be the first full weather app for Android Auto to support live radar.
The app will show you live radar readings and the map will automatically update as you drive. In the new app, you can easily switch layers to see different types of maps.
To enjoy the new experience with the WeatherRadar all you need to have Android Auto in your car and a smartphone. Now connect your phone to your car, and Weather & Radar will appear on your car display screen.
You’ll be able to see the current weather conditions (satellite and radar) on the WeatherRadar, along with the RainfallRadar showing only the precipitation intensity. You can even zoom it.
