In November last year, Samsung released the stable Android 13 update to the Galaxy A73 5G units in Malaysia. The Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ were the first devices from Samsung to get the January 2023 security patch. Now, the company has started sending the second January 2023 security patch update with a firmware size of 226.48MB.
The latest January 2023 firmware update for the Galaxy A73 5G is rolling out with the build number A736BXXS2BWA3 (first update firmware A736BXXS2BVL3) in Malaysia. In order to install the security patch update on your Galaxy A73 5G device you can install it by navigating Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
The January 2023 security patch fixes over 45 security vulnerabilities including a security issue with Secure Folder and more. The Galaxy A73 smartphone was launched in early 2022 with Android 12 and the device will get three more Android OS updates in the future.
