Samsung XR headset battery spotted

Samsung XR experience

Samsung at Unpacked announced that the company is developing an XR (Extended Reality) headset jointly with Qualcomm and Google. Now the new proof of Samsung’s upcoming XR device is spotted by GalaxyClub.

The battery with the product code EB-BI120ABY (South Korean Certification) is now spotted. Back in November, the first news appeared that the company is working on new VR / AR glasses, with model number SM-I120.

XR Battery

As per the details, the battery in the SM-I120 indicates that this is not simply a new kind of Gear VR. The Gear VR worked entirely on your phone, so it didn’t need its own power source. For your information, the battery measures about 45 by 45 millimeters.

As the XR device market is forecast to grow, subsequently display makers are also focusing on it. The reason is the display is comparatively higher in XR than in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Because in XR, the camera is needed in order to faithfully reproduced. On the other hand, high-pixel VR realization is required at the same time.
