Samsung first rolled out the January 2023 security update for the Galaxy Note 10 series. After that several devices have received the update so far. Now, the Indian units of Galaxy S21+ are getting the month-old patch.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S21+ comes with the firmware version G996BXXS5DWA4. The updated package size is 228MB.
In order to install the January 2023 security patch update on your Galaxy S21+, you can check for the latest update by tapping on Settings -> Software update ->Download and install.

To recall, the Galaxy S21 series was launched back in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The devices in the lineup got the Android 12-based One UI 4 update in late 2021 and the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update was also received arrived.
