Samsung has officially shared the financial results for the fourth quarter and the fiscal year 2022. As per the press release, the South Korean tech giant noted KRW 70.46 trillion in consolidated revenue and KRW 4.31 trillion in operating profit in the quarter that ended December 31, 2022. And, for a whole year, the company reported 302.23 trillion in annual revenue, a record high, and KRW 43.38 trillion in operating profit.
According to the statement of Daniel Araujo, managing director of Samsung, “This year, we will proceed with recruitment to develop APs (application processors) for the most suitable price and performance among major solutions.” In the future, considering market demand, release time, and regional leads, we are planning to adopt optimized APs for each model. We plan to maintain open recruitment based on competitiveness.”

Considering this, the MX division established an AP solution development team in December 2022, which is in charge of AP optimization and next-generation advanced research. It plans to promote AP development optimized for Galaxy products through cooperation with partners.
