Samsung has now started sending the January 2023 security patch update to the Galaxy A50 in India. The latest firmware update is rolling with the version A505FDDS9CWA2.

Ahead of the Galaxy S23 launch, the South Korean tech giant has now started rolling out the January 2023 security update for eligible devices. The update is now rolling out for the Galaxy A50 users in the US with the firmware version A505GUBS9CWA2. The update will be available in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Mexico.
All new security patch updates can be available for download via Settings -> Software updates -> Download and install. Wait a bit to system search and if your phone gets a new update it will show on the same page.
To recall, the Galaxy A50 smartwatch was launched with Android 9 onboard. Since then, the phone has received two new versions of the OS, and currently, the phone runs on Android 11 (One UI 3.1).
