The Galaxy M53 5G smartphone received Android 13 and One UI 5.0 in early December. A new firmware with version number M536BXXU2BWA2 is rolling out to Galaxy M53 in India.
The official changelog says the update brings the Maintenance mode and the January 2023 security patch update. Samsung introduced the Maintenance mode with One UI 5.0. Some Samsung Galaxy devices already received it in their very first Android 13 release.

You can enable the Maintenance mode from your phone’s Settings -> Device care menu when you send your device in for repairs to hide all personal data such as images, videos, and third-party apps while keeping all core functionalities enabled.
In order to install the all-new firmware update on your device, just tap on the system Settings -> Software update and Download and install.

Samsung also started rolling out the January 2023 security software update to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 in the US (unclocked) with the firmware versions F926U1UEU2EWA2 and F711U1UEU3EWA2 respectively.
