Samsung launched the first wind-free air conditioner back in 2016. According to ASHRAE standards, winds of 0.15 m/s or less without cold draft are defined as still air.
Now, Samsung has some interesting technology for you. In 2023, all the stand air conditioners are now operated with a Windfree function, including the ‘Non-wind Slim’ air conditioner, energy-specialized models and eco-friendly/smartthings Improved usability and functionality.
