Samsung Band Selection App getting January 2023 update

Samsung Band Selection is the official Samsung app that helps you access hidden network settings for forcing band selection on Samsung phones. It can help to discover a new 4G LTE / 5G NR bands in your area. It avoid congested bands by manually selecting a well-known uncongested band.

In the app, you can find the option to check More Network Settings, which contains dual SIMs settings for VoLTE, APN, Wi-Fi calling, etc, when supported by your device and carrier. The Samsung Band Selection App runs on Samsung devices running One UI 2.0 and above (Currently the company is working on One UI 5.1 version). Compatibility verified by the community on Galaxy S8, S9, S10, S20, Note8, Note9, Note10+, A30, A50 J6.

Now, the South Korean tech giant has started sending a new app update for its Samsung Band Selection. It is rolling out with version 1.5.0 and added a workaround for Samsung firmware update that blocks Band Selection access. It also updated Android SDK to target API level 33 (Android 13). Fully validated app against Android 13 and in last fixes some known bugs.
