Samsung’s January update is now rolling out to the Galaxy S20 FE ((SM-G781B) and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the Netherlands. This update fixes 50 security-related issues as well also improved system stability. As per the changelog, the January 2023 security patch update for the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with the firmware G781BXXS4GWA3 (5G version) or G780GXXS3DWA3 (4G version with Snapdragon processor) and F721BXXS1BWA2 respectively.
The update also improves the security of NFC, Wi-Fi, Knox, Secure Folder, and the Phone app, among other things. Meanwhile, the carrier-unlocked variants of the Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 devices in the US also grabbed the January 2023 security patch update with the software version ending with BWA2. Download the latest update via your system Settings -> Software Update section.
Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices are all set to get an Android 13-based One UI 5.1 update. The new software will debut with the launch of the Galaxy S23 series on February 1, 2023.
