Samsung officially released the new mobile solid-state drive T7 Shield 4TB variant in Germany. Earlier it was available in 1TB and 2TB storage variants.

The Samsung T7 Shield will be available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB variant in Germany. As per the pricing, the 1TB version will cost EUR 134.90, the 2TB variant will cost EUR 219.90 and the 4TB version will cost EUR 429.90. The 4TB version will go on sale on January 17, 2023.
The T7 Shield has a read speed of 1050MB/s and a write speed of 1000MB/s, which is Samsung’s current highest transmission speed based on the USB 3.2 Gen2 standard. This speed is about 2 times faster than its Samsung T5, and 9.5 times faster than Samsung’s external mechanical hard drive HX-MTD10EA.
