Samsung CEO: The company will unveil two premium devices at Unpacked event

It is expected to have two new devices that “Set the new premium standard for innovation.”

Reportedly, Samsung has just published a blog post by TM Roh setting the stage for February 1st. This is the date when the company will going to hold its first in-person launch event. This Samsung unpacked event must be really special because this is the first in-person event since the start of the pandemic. While Roh doesn’t reveal many details but at the same time, specifically mentions improvisation to its smartphone camera system. While disclosing us to expect two new devices that “Set the new premium standard for innovation.”

While reading between the lines, it seems like two new Ultra devices. Very similar to last year, when we got the Note-Esque S22 Ultra and the massive Tab S8 Ultra tablet.

The new 200MP sensor is the new captivating feature

In between this blog post, earlier leaks, and hints from Samsung. It is expected that we will see the company’s new 200MP sensor in the forthcoming S23 Ultra. Also, as per their leaks and rumors churn out, it pointed toward a brighter display, a second periscope telephoto lens, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 across all regions. On the other hand, the S22 Ultra already has one of its best mobile cameras of the past year. Therefore, it is more exciting to see what these cameras’ update seems like.

In regards to other Ultra, it’s more similar to a Galaxy Book. While as per Roh’s definition with respect to Ultra: “For Samsung, Ultra means big. Ultra means bold. Ultra means the best of the best in performance.”  But probably in this next generation. The Ultra variant will take on another informal definition: “has a stylus.

The S22 Ultra absorbed the Note and its S Pen integration. Alternatively, it would make sense for a Galaxy Book with the Ultra name in order to bring the stylus integration. Moreover, all will be disclosed very soon on February 1st.
