Samsung is bringing the most awaited Galaxy S23 Series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1, 2023. Alongside the new Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra the company will launch new true wireless earbuds, new chipset details, and more.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is reportedly launching with a new 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor that’s 1/1.3″ in size, nearly matching the latest iPhone.
Ahead of the official S23 debut, the news of the Galaxy S24 lineup has started circulating online. In the 2024 Galaxy S24 Ultra, the South Korean tech giant Samsung is looking to change its video quality and telephoto cameras.
Few reports claimed that Vivo’s 3.5X Periscope camera with their Custom NPU already takes better photos than the rumored S23 Ultra at 20X zoom. The 3X telephoto on the S23 Ultra will be as same as the 3X zoom lens used on the S22 Ultra. A 1/3.52″ 10MP sensor with a 2.4 Aperture may be missing the better qualities at 70mm, though it does have OIS.
Now, a new leak from the tipster RGcloudS revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra zoom capability will be significantly improved (Gen4 optics design, wider aperture “2.5 ~ 2.9”).
