Update 2 – January 06, 2023: Verizon also started rolling out the December 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 (F711USQU3EVL9) and Z Flip 3 users in the US.
Update 1 – December 08, 2022: After the Samsung Galaxy A90, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Z Fold 4 now the third generation of Samsung foldable devices are now getting the December 2022 security patch update.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with firmware version F711BXXS3DVKB, while the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is getting the update with firmware version F926BXXS2DVKB. As per availability, the all-new firmware update is currently available in Europe.
In order to install the latest firmware on your Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 3, you can now install the new security patch on your phone by tapping Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
