At CES 2023, Google showcased some of the features that make Android smoothly

At CES 2023, Google showcased some of the features that make Android work on multiple devices smoothly. As it wants Android smartphones to work in harmony with other devices. Therefore in making a grip on both hardware and software integration Google is planning a different era.

Erik Kay, VP, of Android, in a blog post, added on the same note:

“The company has been working with partners to build products that allow your phones, laptops, TVs, and cars to work better together, regardless of the brand.”

“We’re working with leading brands like Eve Systems, Tuya, Phillips Hue and Nanoleaf to build compelling Matter-enabled experiences.”

“There are now even more watches with Wear OS to choose from, including the Pixel Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series, and Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition.”

Well, these aren’t new features but Google did highlight how they have improved their services. Like it really works on its Fast Pair to connect with audio devices, Nearby Share on more devices, and WearOS on more smartwatches. Now let’s know more about the same under some coming headings.

Fast Pair to connect with audio devices

It has also shared words about the Fast Pair to connect with audio devices. According to Google, Fast Pair has sped up the setup process for pairing devices, including more than 300 headphone models from brands like Beats, JBL, OnePlus, and Sony.

Furthermore, letting users connect smart home devices to their network Fast Pair on Android also progresses with Matter. In 2022, over 320 million Fast Pair pairings were made to instantly find and connect nearby accessories to your devices.

Google’s Nearby Share on more devices

Nearby Share is an easier way for Android users to share content with each other from their devices. Be it sending files, photos, or documents, Nearby Share makes it easier.

Google says that Nearby Share is now available on around 3 billion devices. Android Auto on cars Android Auto has seen a lot of revamps over the years and brings easier viewing and access to navigation, media, and communication on the car infotainment system. Internationally, Google says that seven car brands offer Google built – in their infotainment systems.

WearOS on more smartwatches
