The last December 2022 update created issues on the European units of the Galaxy S22 models. Now according o the information, the new update of the December update is now available on the devices that fixes Smart Switch update.
The latest firmware is rolling out Over The Air (OTA) and the update is rolling out with the firmware versions S90xBXXU2BVKB/S90xBOXM2BVKB/S90xBXXU2BVKB. The firmware version after the Smart Switch update is S90xBXXU2BVKB/S908BOXM2BVKC/S90xBXXU2BVKC. The CSC and baseband versions (second and third part) are different here.
It also appears not to be possible to install the December update – firmware S90xBXXU2BVL1/S90xBOXM2BVL1/S90xBXXU2BVL1 – via Smart Switch. That program also reports that the device is already running on the latest firmware.
If you were able to download the December update directly OTA on your Galaxy S22, you can ignore everything here. It is simply irrelevant to your phone.
