Breaking: Galaxy S23 Unpacked event 2023 date revealed

The Samsung Galaxy S23 has been recently spotted on the Geekbench website with the model number SM-S911B, which is the base version of Samsung’s upcoming flagship lineup (via NashvilleChatter). In the listing, the Galaxy S23 can score 578 points on the single-core score and 2118 points on the multi-core test.

Earlier it was revealed that the Galaxy S23 Series launch will take place somewhere around the end of February 2023. Now, the actual launch date of the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 date revealed by a trusted tipster.

According to tipster IceUniverse (@UniverseIce), the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 launch event which will include the Galaxy S23 lineup to happen on February 1, 2023. This seems to be the launch date for the US. So, for the rest of the world, the launch date would most likely be February 2, 2023.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will launch with a 200MP new camera. The whole lineup will get improvements on the display brightness (It is said to feature a display with a peak brightness of 2200 nits), camera quality, and performance.

Under the hood the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, faster LPDDR5X RAM, and faster UFS 4.0 storage. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will keep using the same 5,000mAh battery as its predecessor, but the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ could have slightly bigger batteries. All three phones will be upgraded to 12MP front-facing cameras with autofocus.
