Google Chrome is now more RAM and energy efficient with new features

Google Chrome on the desktop is finally gaining two new features. While it becomes a lot more efficient with the system’s RAM as well as battery. The features are Memory Saver and Energy Saver. Memory Saver

Memory Saver will efficiently freeze unused tabs and put them in an inactive state. Therefore, reload them when needed. While Google will also give you a visual indicator of how much KB memory is being saved.

Energy Saver

Energy Saver is came into a role when your laptop goes below 20%, then Chrome will tweak webpages to save precious battery life. This is achieved by limiting background activity, as well as optimizing certain visual effects for a website including animation and video.
