[U: Philippines] Galaxy A71 4G getting Android 13 update [Last Major Update]

Update 3 – December 09, 2022: The Philippines units of the Galaxy A71 have started receiving the Android 13 update.

Update 2 – December 07, 2022: The Galaxy A71 is now getting the stable One UI 5 (Android 13) update in India with the firmware version A715FXXUBDVK5.

Update 1 – November 24, 2022: Samsung is completing its promise and started sending out the stable Android 13 update before the end of this year to eligible devices. Now, the international variant of the Galaxy A71 has started getting the stable One UI 5 (Android 13) update.

The higher to low-end Galaxy devices already getting the stable Android 13 update. The Android 13 update to the Galaxy A71 comes ahead of its scheduled timeline.

The official One UI 5 version arrives with the build number DVK1 and it also includes October 2022 security patch. You can now download the Android 13 update on your smartphone by navigating to Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A71 was launched in 2019 with Android 10. It received the Android 11 update in early 2021 and the Android 12 update in early 2022. Now, this all-new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software update is its last major Android OS update. In the future, it will only get security patches.
