Samsung to make fingerprint login 2.5bn times more secure in 2025

In order to increase the security of fingerprint-based biometrics. One way instead of using a small scanner that can read one fingerprint at a time, What if the entire screen becomes the OLED screen and is capable of scanning multiple fingerprints. Although, it may sound like something out of science fiction. But, it is worth informing here that presently Samsung is working on the same technology as we speak.

As per ISORG CEO, while interacting in a recent interview, Samsung may come up with this technology soon in a couple of years for its OLED display respectively. Therefore, in this way, future Galaxy device users will not need to worry about placing their fingerprints in the right place on the screen. And thus, with the upcoming All-in-One fingerprint scanning solution. The overall screen act as a fingerprint scanner.

However, Samsung hasn’t disclosed the exact timeline of when this technology take a shape for its Galaxy devices. On the other hand, the ISORG reveals that its own OPD( Organic Photo Diode) multi-fingerprint technology is ready. It is also been said that Samsung will use similar materials and processes for its All-in-One fingerprint scanner for OLED 2.0 respectively.

Samsung is set to come with multi-fingerprint security in 2025

At the same time, ISORG CEO forecasted that Samsung will release its multi-fingerprint scanning technology in 2025. While the technology will definitely become the effective standard for security. On the other hand, it has been not clear yet when Apple going to adopt this technology. Notably, the latest iPhone models have substantially replaced fingerprint unlocking with Face ID. Hence, Samsung will probably be the first OEM to introduce multi-fingerprint scanning and in this way become the industry leader in the segment.
