Samsung has officially shared the count of its charity. According to the information, at the end of the year, Samsung donated 50 billion won to the Social Welfare Joint Fundraising Association.
On December 01, 2022, the South Koren tech giant Samsung held a year-end love for neighbor donation delivery ceremony at the Social Welfare Joint Fundraising Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Cho Heung-sik, chairman of the Social Welfare Joint Fundraising Association, Choi Young-moo, president of Samsung Social Contribution Business, and Choi Jang-won, CEO of Samsung Electronics, Hwang Jun.

Samsung delivers 10 billion won from 1999 to 2003, 20 billion won from 2004 to 2010, 30 billion won in 2011, and 50 billion won every year since 2012. The total amount of donations accumulated so far this year has reached 770 billion won.
At the end of this year, 23 affiliates including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung SDS, Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Fire, Samsung Card, Samsung Securities, Samsung C&S, Samsung Engineering, Cheil Planning, and S-One participated. Each company went through the approval process for the contribution of external donations.
