Samsung Galaxy A01 and Galaxy M42 5G smartphones are now getting new software updates in December 2022. The Galaxy A01 is getting an Android 12 update while the Galaxy M42 5G is now getting a stable One UI 5 (Android 13) update.
The Galaxy A01 Android 12 update is rolling out in Uzbekistan with firmware version A015FXXU5CVK5. The update brings One UI Core 4.1 and the September 2022 security patch to the smartphone.
The Galaxy M42 5G (SM-M426B) One UI 5 update is rolling out with the firmware version M426BXXU3CVK5 alongside the November 2022 security patch.
One UI 5.0 brings a new way to customize the lock screen, improved performance and UI animations, an easier method of managing background apps, redesigns to the Settings app, and overall, a more streamlined experience. Download the latest update by tapping on Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
