Samsung Electronics Service holds 27th Service Technology Competition

Service Technology Competition

In South Korea, Samsung Electronics Services held a Service Technology Competition to pick out the best technical talents at Samsung Electronics CS Academy in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do.

This is the 27th anniversary and it was held for three days from the 22nd to the 24th with nine events, including a repair technology competition and a presentation of service innovation cases.

More than 700 of the more than 5,600 service engineers participated in the regional qualifiers, and 105 of them competed fiercely in the finals.

The 30 outstanding performers in each category received Gold · Silver · Bronze statues awards. The eight people who scored the highest scores were additionally awarded the Minister of Employment and Labor Award (4 people) and the Korean Association President’s Award at the International Skills Olympic Games (4 people).

Lee Kyung-ryul of Nam Ulsan Center, Hee-Sung Jeong of B2B Uijeongbu Center, Sehoon Kim of B2B Gangbuk Center, Shin Jin-woo of B2B Seoul Branch Winners of the Korea Association President’s Award at the International Skills Olympic Games: Park Kyung-joo of Jeonju Center, Yeon-Tae Yoon of Dongsuwon Center, Bae Young-geun of Xianyang Center, Lee Jun-jung of Kyungin Technology Group.

Ju Hee-ju, head of the talent development team at Samsung Electronics Service, said, “Engineers’ multi-technical capabilities are becoming more important due to the trend of convergence between products, and we will strive to provide new customer experiences with technology-centered total services.”
