WhatsApp is testing another important feature for desktop users. The Meta-owned platform is now decided to bring a new feature for its users on Windows and the latest changes will appear on version 2.2240.1.0. The sidebar contains various options such as a chat list, status updates, and settings. Now, you will see the WhatsApp call tab.
This tab let you allow to check your call history on the device. The feature has been spotted by a popular WhatsApp tracker named WABetainfo.
As per the image below, WhatsApp has added a call icon on the left sidebar that opens a call menu. For now, it is available in the beta channel and the company is expected to add call history sync in an upcoming update.
A few WhatsApp beta testers have received the Windows 2.2246.4.0 update while others are expected to receive this feature soon.
