Samsung Display share is predicted to swiftly exceed 70 percent by the end of this year

Talking about iPhone 14 series comprise four models and a lower lineup of 6.1-inch standard models and 6.7-inch Plus. Both have low-temperature crystalline silicon (LTPS) thin-film transistors (TFTs). On the other hand, the 6.1-inch Pro and 6.7-inch Pro Max apply low-temperature crystalline oxide (LTPO) TFT. Notably, Samsung Display supplies OLED to all four types. Whereas LG Display supplies two types, which are the 6.1-inch standard model (LTPS) and the 6.7-inch Pro Max (LTPO).

LG Display is predicted to deliver the iPhone 14 series OLED volume of 20 million units by the end of this year. While this would probably be a general-type model OLEDs.

Samsung Display expects to focus on LTPO models

BOE is predicted to ship 5 to 6 million units of the iPhone 14 general model OLED. Also, if the demand for the iPhone 14 series is on the higher side this year. And if Samsung Display put its focus on LTPO models then BOE is expected to increase the production of the general purpose OLED respectively. Although, both iPhone variant face decline in demand which makes it difficult to think of these expectations.

As mentioned above, the shipment of all four variants of finished iPhone 14 series products is forecast to reach 90 million units. This ratio of the professional lineup is predicted to exceed 60%. While the proportion of the lower lineup is expected to be below 40%. In contrast, the capacity of panels is higher than the shipments of finished products.
