The Samsung W23 and W23 Flip were launched in China recently. The Samsung W23 looks more premium and it is a variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, while the W23 Flip is a modern version of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The China Telecom exclusive W23 is now getting the stable One UI 5 update (BVK6) based on Android 13.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung W23 comes with the same specifications as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, the main tweaks only come to the outside of the phone. The phone has a ceramic black panel on the back and an aluminum hinge with some engravings. The phone comes with a set of custom themes. While the W23 Flip uses a glass back panel as opposed to ceramic.

In order to install the latest firmware update in your new Samsung W23 just click on Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
