WhatsApp Multi Device

The beta version 2.22.24.18 of the Meta-owned App WhatsApp has an interesting feature called the multi-device management of the app. In particular, some beta testers now already getting this feature which shows the possibility of connecting an Android tablet to their WhatsApp account. The Multi-device feature of WhatsApp was first introduced back in September.

As per the screenshot below, the new presentation screen shows up within the linked devices section after selecting the option “linked devices beta”. Since this feature is marked as “beta”, it means that some features may still not be available for some users, for example, the ability to view live locations and manage broadcast lists.

Soon you will be able to use WhatsApp on a second device

Having the same WhatsApp account on two smartphones means having the chat history synchronized: however, this does not involve the loss of end-to-end encryption.
