Samsung has announced that it is holding the Wave: Waves of Circulation Exhibition from 11th to 27th, November 2022 at Samsung Digital Plaza Samsung Daechi Main Store (Gangnam-gu, Seoul).
Samsung Electronics together with its designers and craft artists Jisun Kim and Jongdae Ryu participated in the exhibition. It shows the following three works.
1) The Footprint, which uses aluminum and graphite by-products generated during mobile product development to convey messages about daily life and the future.
2) Wavy Blue, which embodies waves with product packaging materials and waste fishing nets discarded in the sea.
3) Modern Wave, which expresses various personalities through objects made by 3D printing by melting recycled plastic.
Samsung also applied parts using recycled materials from waste fishing nets to some Galaxy devices, such as the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
