Google’s next chip ‘Tensor G3’ made by Samsung with same modem as Pixel 7

At this point, specifications are not known regarding the Google changes with the next generation.

Google Pixel 7 and its Tensor G2 chip are not so long from its launch. As it’s only been available for a month, and now rumors start blooming regarding its next generation. As per the new report coming “Tensor G3” will remain stuck to the same modem as the Pixel 7 series while pulling from Samsung’s latest chip development.

WinFuture claims in its reporting that Google’s next-generation smartphones will probably be using a chipset that captures the codename “Zuma.”

This is not the fact of surprising that the chip appears to be an outgrowth of the Samsung Exynos 2300. It means that Google’s next chip which presumably carries the tag of Tensor G3 will again be made by Samsung. Although, at this point, specifications are not known regarding the Google changes with the next generation. But Samsung as of now actively working on the Exynos 2300. Despite the fact that it’s not to be equipped with a flagship Galaxy S23. That instead will potentially rely on Qualcomm Snapdragon chips.

It is worth informing here that the same “Zuma” codename was earlier reported by GalaxyClub and Kuba Wojciechowski respectively. Further, the latter claims the chip may be packed on Samsung’s 3nm process. Whereas we saw that Tensor G2 is built on a 5nm process.

Pixel 7 Performance is proven to be superior

Moving ahead another interesting delicacy from this report with respect to “Tensor G3” is the modem. As this becomes the same and not going to change altogether from Tensor G2. Google seems to be on the backend with a modem on its original Tensor chip in its Pixel 6. While no one can deny the fact that the modem performance on the Pixel 7 has come out to be far better.

On the other hand, the report also claims that Google’s two devices carry the codenames “Shiba” and “Husky.” And both of these devices are mentioned with 12GB of RAM with a 2268×1080 display on “Shiba” and 2822×1344 on “Husky.” However, these specs certainly are considered a pinch of salt at this point in time. Also, the resolution listed does not match any of Google’s earlier devices.
