Recently, Google announced Play Games for Windows. To bring this into the highlight, it’s a service to play Android games on Windows PC. Earlier, this service was made available limited to the Beta program in three countries. It includes Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea respectively. And as a part of this expansion, Google provided its availability to eight more countries. The same goes to include, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and United States.

Additionally, Google’s gaming service was primarily launched with twelve games. Although, as per Ars Technica, there are now more than sixty game titles available. Also, it comprises some popular games such as Genshin Impact. While Google has also significantly managed to lower the minimum hardware requirements in order to run Play Games on a Windows PC. Now all you need to have is a PC or laptop with a quad-core CPU, integrated graphics, and Windows 10.

Therefore, users who belong to any of the mentioned eleven countries can experience Google Play Games on their Samsung laptops. This is achieved by downloading the beta program from the official website and using a Google account to log into the platform. In contrast, the standalone app for Google Play Games on Windows is look exactly the same. As those present on smartphones or tablets (Google Play Store). Although it has longer descriptions for each game, it shows Windows-like notifications. One can get Play Points also for in-game achievements.

Notably, this launch of Google Play Games came into existence after Microsoft brings Android apps and games to Windows 11 via Amazon AppStore. Google has spent a lot of time creating an ecosystem of Android apps and games, while it won’t allow Microsft to compete in the PC market at any cost.
