Samsung’s new performance profile section makes a cameo on the fourth generation of foldable phones – the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. It is developed to prolong the battery life of the device.

The new Performance mode on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 is different from the usual battery-saver optimizations of One UI. If you have a newly launched Z Fold 4 or Z Flip 4 on your hand then you can enable the Light performance profile to increase battery life. Here’s how you can do it. Go to Settings > Battery > Performance Profile section under which there are two options – Standard and Light.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is likely to arrive with an upgrade over the Galaxy S22 lineup. The Galaxy S23 lineup was also reported to be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is yet to be launched.

Now a trusted tipster Ice Universe once again shared key information regarding the system performance of the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup. The leaker said that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will get a “Light (Low Power) mode,” which can moderately reduce performance while greatly reducing power consumption without affecting refresh rates.

For your information, this feature is already above on the latest Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 foldable phones. However, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site with model number SM-S916U. The listing is believed to be of the US variant of the Samsung Galaxy S23+, which reveals some of the key specifications of the device.

As per the listing, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is also listed to run on Android 13. This smartphone has scored 1,485 points in single-core testing and 4,844 points in multi-core testing. According to the listing, an octa-core chipset codenamed ‘Kalama’ will power the phone.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to arrive with a 200MP + 10MP (10X, Periscope Tele) + 10MP (3x Tele) + 12MP (UW) camera.
