Update 1 – October 26, 2022: Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S7 now joined the October 2022 security update race. The latest software update is now available in the Netherlands. According to the One UI 5 official schedule, the Galaxy Tab S8 series and Galaxy Tab S7 will get the One UI 5 stable update in November 2022.
As per the changelog, the latest October 2022 security patch is rolling out with the firmware version XXS2AVJ2 for the Tab S8 and S8+ and XXS2AVJ4 for Tab S8 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series is now getting the update with the build number XXS2CVJ2 and the size is 260MB.
In terms to download the latest firmware update just visit the system Settings -> Software update -> Download and install option.
Recently, the device has grabbed a major One UI 4.1.1 update which brings multitasking, split screen, and pop-overs features.
