[U: Canada] Galaxy Z Fold 4 getting October 2022 security patch update

Update 5 – October 26, 2022: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is now receiving the October 2022 patch in Canada with the firmware version F936WVLSIAVII.

Update 4 – October 20, 2022:

The October 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with the firmware version F936USQS1AVII, whereas that for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with the firmware version F721USQS1AVII in the US. (T-Mobile, Comcast, and Xfinity Mobile networks. ).

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 also getting October 2022 patch in Europe with the software version AVJ3.

Update 3 – October 17, 2022:  T-Mobile bounded Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is now getting the October 2022 security update in the US. The latest update is rolling out with the firmware version F936U1UES1AVII.

Update 2 – October 17, 2022: Verizon-based Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are now getting October 2022, Security patch in the US. As per the changelog, the latest update arrived as version F936USQS1AVII for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and F721USQS1AVII for Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Update 1: October 13, 2022

The latest product from Samsung’s portfolio is now finally able to install the latest security patch. Yes, you read it right, we are talking about the fourth-generation foldable phone the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Samsung has started sending the October 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in Israel and it bumps up the firmware version to F936BXXS1AVJ3.

It includes the October 2022 security patch that fixes over four dozen security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones. The update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

If you live in Israel and if you have a Galaxy Z Fold 4, you can now download the new software update. You can do that by navigating to Settings -> Software update ->  tapping Download and install.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will soon be able to install the next major One UI update in the coming weeks.
