The October 2022 security patch fixes over four dozen security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones. The update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
Meanwhile, the South Korean tech giant has started rolling out the second One UI 5 Beta update for the Galaxy S20 lineup in Korea and the latest update comes with firmware version ZVJ8.
If you are a Galaxy S20 Ultra user in the US, you can download and install the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Series Software Update
The Galaxy S20 series was launched with Android 10-based One UI 2. The devices received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update early last year and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update late last year.
The Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra phones are expected to get the Android 13-based One UI 5 update later this year or early next year.
