Galaxy Note 20 series gets a taste of Android 13 (One UI 5 Beta) in Korea

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra owners have recently received the first One UI 5 beta update notification in the US. Now, Samsung is opening up its One UI 5 beta program to these devices in Korea as well.

Samsung at SDC 2022 announced the availability of its stable version of One UI 5 and it was said that it will be coming to the Galaxy S22 series later this month.

Off the heels of this announcement, however, Samsung has opened up its beta program to more devices in more countries. Now it appears that the One UI 5 beta is available for Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra in Korea.

Users can get started with the process by registering for the beta program. To do so, all you have to do is open up the Samsung Members app. When you open the app, you’ll see a banner announcing the beta. Click on the banner and it will take you to where you need to sign up. Once you’re signed up, you’ll get a notification when the beta firmware is ready for download.

Although the Galaxy S22 series is testing One UI 5 Beta 5 build or we can say its a final beta build ahead of the official/public release of the One UI 5 update, other Galaxy devices likely won’t be far behind. It’s expected that subsequent models should also get access to the stable One UI 5 version sometime later this year.
