The same patent was filed a year back with the US Patent and Trademark Office. According to the data released in July of this year, the ring is equipped with an optical blood flow measurement sensor ( PPG ) and an electrocardiogram ( ECG ) sensor to measure heart rate and blood pressure and to control electronic products such as laptops, smartphones, and TVs.
