Samsung hints One UI 5.1

The stable One UI 5.0 version is around the corner and it will release first in the Galaxy S22 Series. Ahead of that, the company already revealed One UI 5.1 is in the pipeline. It may arrive with the Galaxy S23 series.

Samsung hints One UI 5.1

The upcoming One UI 5.1 version is spotted (via GalaxyClub) on the Netherlands newsroom page. According to the official page, some new features of the lock screen will only be available in version 5.1 of One UI.

Unfortunately, the core information of which functions are involved here is now clear. The latest One UI 5 beta shows all the required options and some features will be available in the final update.

Samsung Bixby Text Call

Samsung at SDC 2022 said that the Bixby Text Call feature, for now, is only available in Korean so we hope in One UI 5.1 the language support will increase.

One UI 5.1 in Galaxy S23?

Earlier it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will arrive with One UI 5 but from the above news the plan may change. The South Korean tech firm may bring its next flagship models Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra running One UI 5.1.

One more doubt we can assume is that it was written mistakenly but the One UI 5.1 is also clear without confirmation from the official site (maybe accidentally listed). Of course, after the One UI 5 you will most likely also receive One UI 5.1 later in 2023.
