[Update: China] Galaxy Z Fold 3 Android 12L/One UI 4.1.1 update

Update 3: October 16, 2022 – The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G foldable phone is now getting One UI 4.1.1 update in China. This update comes is based on Android 12 and it arrived with version number F9260ZCU1CVI6 /F9260CHC1CVI6 / F9260ZCU1CVHD. The update download ackage size is 1671.94MB.

Samsung has started kicking off the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is available in the US. It comes with firmware version F926USQS2DVHE and includes the September 2022 security patch. The update is currently rolling out on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile’s networks.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 Android 12L/One UI 4.1.1 update features

The latest One UI 4.1.1 update for the third generation of the Z Fold series brings Android 12L Taskbar to do multitasking operations. You can switch between apps seamlessly. It brings Dual Preview for the main and cover screen.

You can also drag apps from the taskbar and drop them above to open them in full-screen or split-screen multitasking mode. The latest firmware also brings split-screen, and pop-up views.

There are multitouch gestures to launch the multitasking view easily. The new software allows the Galaxy Z Fold 3 to display app names in the Edge Panel.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 2’s Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update also arrived with the firmware version F916BXXU2HVHA in Germany. If you’re a Galaxy Z Fold 3 owner in India, you can install the new update by heading to Settings-> Software update -> Download and install.
