Samsung has updated over one dozen Galaxy devices to the latest October 2022 security patch. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is getting the current month’s patch update in the US.
The company has started rolling out the October 2022 security patch for the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G with the firmware version G991USQU5CVIF and the update size is 541MB.
The October 2022 security patch includes fixes 1 Critical, 29 High levels, and 2 Moderate CVEs. There are also 18 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE).
In order to install the latest patch update on your Galaxy S21 5G device, you can download and install the update by navigating to Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 lineup in early 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3. The smartphone have already received the Android 12-based One UI 4 update. Earlier this year, they also received the One UI 4.1 update. The Galaxy S21 series will get three more Android OS updates.
