[October 10, 2022]: Samsung has started sending the October 2022 Security Patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The update is rolling out in the US for the Verizon carrier network with build number F916USQS2HVI8.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy S21 Series, Galaxy S20 Series, and Galaxy Note 20 series users have already received the latest October 2022 security patch.
Now, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 October 2022 security patch update is rolling out with the firmware version F916BXXS2HVI8 in the European market and the update package size is 215MB.
According to Samsung’s security documentation for its phones and tablets, the October 2022 security patch includes fixes 1 Critical, 29 High levels, and 2 Moderate CVEs. There are also 18 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE).
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Sports a 7.60-inch display offering a resolution of 1768×2208 pixels. It also features a 6.20-inch touchscreen as its second display, with a resolution of 816×2260 pixels.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor that features 1 core clocked at 3.09GHz, 3 cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and 4 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It comes with 12GB of RAM.
