Samsung’s latest October 2022 security patch is now available for the Galaxy S20 FE 4G LTE variant operated with Snapdragon 865 processor. The 5G variant has already been upgraded with the update.
The latest software update is rolling out with the firmware version G780GXXU3CVI4 and it is available for the Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780G) in Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
The October 2022 Samsung security update fixes over four dozen security vulnerabilities. The update might also include general bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy S20 FE 4G user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download the new update and install it now. You can do that by navigating to Settings -> Software update ->tapping Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE phone was launched in back September 2020 with Android 10 onboard. Since then the smartphone grabbed the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in early 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update one early 2022.
