Samsung’s Ukraine R&D office in Europe

Samsung R&D Institute Ukraine (SRUKR) is being established in Kyiv, Ukraine. Right next to where lately Russian missile has landed. It is said that it is one of the company’s biggest in R&D offices Europe and the company’s regional headquarter. R&D hub of Samsung Electronics to lead future technologies creating new values through ceaseless innovation and intelligence. Reportedly some are hurt due to the explosions. There seems to be at least some damage to the building including other infrastructure. In the all turmoil we could only hope for the safety of all.

The extent of damage to the building is unclear as of now. A series of images on Twitter show a lot of dust and smoke up in the air around the building. But we have reached out to Samsung to know more about this and if this is true. Yet we didn’t have any official information to make a stamped mark on the tweets or another source of income.

Many videos and other news sources are secreting the news that how the building is affected. A quick search on Google Maps reveals that it is the same Samsung R&D office that’s located in the building that seems to have been hit by the missile. Tweets and others also seem to picturise the DTEK office (one of the biggest firms in the energy sector). And the German consulate (22nd floor) in the same building.
