Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone users in the US, Korea, and the Netherlands have already grabbed the September 2022 security patch update with a huge 767MB of download size. Now, the Indian units of the Galaxy A53 is getting the month old patch update.
According to the Galaxy A53 user in India, Samsung is sending two updates together for the September 2022 security patch and it comes with the firmware version A536EXXU4AVH9 and A536EXXU4AVI8.
The first firmware update only contains the patch information while the other includes the stock app updates information. As per the screenshot, Samsung updated four stock applications – Samsung Internet, Samsung Members, Calculator, and Voice recorder with the same patch.
The September 2022 security patch fixes over two dozen privacy and security vulnerabilities. In order to install the latest firmware update on your device, you can install the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
