Asking for years, now Twitter making it a reality finally to allow users to edit tweets. This editing tweet feature currently starts rolling out in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. However, this is made available to be a part of the platform paid members, whereby Twitter Blue will be able to gain access to the feature.
As this feature collects a huge demand for the longest time, and it was just limited to speculation. Now Twitter finally revealed that they are working on editing features towards the beginning of the year. The firm also starts internal testing and it has been making visible publicly for the very first time last week only. And moving progressively, its become live for Twitter Blue subscribers for supported regions as of now. Although, Twitter doesn’t describe a whole in its tweet. While the firm has rolled out the blog posts in order to explain how the feature will going to work.
The Edit Tweet feature allows the users to fix typos, hashtags, and certain other things within 30 mins of the period/timeline after a tweet gets published. And once a tweet has been edited, the tweet will have visual cues including an icon, timestamp, and label. It indicates to users that the tweet has been modified successfully.
Twitter Blue and its access benefits
Also as mentioned above, the feature will be exclusive to Twitter Blue subscribers. For the people, who are unfamiliar with Twitter Blue then it’s a subscription service of Twitter. It allows members to access advanced features. While it provides lots of different perks, such as premium service granting access to custom app icons. While the ability to undo tweets, bookmark folders, ad-free articles and a lot more. Additionally, subscribers also gain access to experimental features that are then part of Twitter Labs.
Meanwhile, the company is offering longer and higher quality video uploads, NFT profile pictures, Edit Tweets, and access to its all-new Space Tab.

Therefore, if you’re the one who really intended to edit the tweets then you can subscribe to Twitter Blue. Talking about the cost then it is available at the cost of $4.99 per month. While currently, it is limited to those in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Also, Twitter did mention that it would be rolling out for those in the United States but the timeline is not revealed yet by the company.
