Samsung has recently released the October 2022 security patch update for the unlocked units of the Galaxy S22 in the US. Now, the update is also available for the Galaxy S22’s carrier-locked version.
The all-new software update for the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with the software version S90xUSQS2AVI1. The update brings the October 2022 security patch to fix dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities.
You can install the latest firmware update on your device by simply tapping on system Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
In the same month, Samsung released the third beta of the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software on the Galaxy S22 lineup so we hope this beta will be the last option to test, and soon the One UI 5 stable version will roll out for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, and the Galaxy A52.
