Apple on its recent iPhone 14 lineup brings the lock screen customization within the iOS 16. Now, Samsung also delivering the lock screen customization for its Galaxy phone users with the latest One UI 5/Android 13 beta builds.

A video from TechDroider shows, the One UI 5 Beta 3 system’s custom Samsung lock screen process is quite similar to Apple’s iOS 16. As of now, Samsung offers five different clock styles, while Apple offers eight. Also, in both operating systems, the user can change the clock color.

Once you add a new wallpaper, both operating systems One UI 5 and iOS 16 let you provide background collections, which are highlighted in a similar way. While Apple offers built-in and third-party widgets, as of now, Samsung only offers widget icons for notifications.

Sure, we did know that One UI 5.0/Android 13 will arrive with a bunch of new features. The One UI 5.0 is still in the beta stage, so we will have to wait for Samsung to actually release the update and see what has changed.
